General Questions
What do you offer?
Here at Live Active Leisure, we pride ourselves in being the largest provider of leisure activities in Perth & Kinross. We offer something for everyone, whether you are an avid gym goer, starting your swim journey or looking for a social class, we have something for everyone.
Currently we offer activities for anyone from a 12-month-old to your great gran, football classes to swimming and fitness classes to badminton courts. Can I visit one of your venues without a membership?
Of course, we welcome everyone into our venues whether you have a membership or not. Not only do we offer a range of membership payment options but we also offer a pay as you go price. You can find our Pay & Play Prices here.
If you are visiting one of our gyms, we require you to complete a gym induction before doing so, safety first!
How do I use your timetable feature on your website?
If you are finding it difficult to use our Timetable feature on our website, here is a quick video guide to help you.
Please be patient when our timetables are loading, there is a lot of information to load so this may take a few seconds.
How can I see your class / session times?
We have a user-friendly timetable feature on our website which enables you to see all of our available gym, swim and class timetables. You can find this on our Timetables page.

I’ve never done a Fitness Class before / I am starting a new class, what do I need to do?
If you have never attended a fitness class or are trying a new class for the first time, it’s a great idea to arrive a few minutes early to have a quick chat with the instructor. This will let the instructor know your new to the class and make sure you’re doing great during the class. It also lets you know what to expect from the class.
Please wear suitable clothing, bring along a water bottle and follow the instructions closely. Most of all ensure you’re having fun, safely!

Prices - Pay As You Go
I want to visit your venue and I am not a member; how much it will cost?
If you are not a Live Active Member and would like to visit one of our venues, you can see our Pay As You Go prices here.
What is a Live Active Card? How do I buy one?
This great little card is available to everyone and saves you at least £1 on each visit. It is an ideal "try us out" stepping-stone to a full Live Active Fitness Membership.
Do you offer concession rates?
We offer concession rates across everything we do, whether you are booking a badminton court or purchasing a membership.

Memberships
How do I buy a Fitness membership? What are the options & benefits?
Our Fitness Memberships give you access to unlimited gym, swim and fitness classes in all of our venues, so if you’re looking to start your fitness journey with us, check out our Fitness Membership page.
Here you will find information about how to purchase, they types of memberships available, price and benefits, including discounts in local shops & restaurants and the chance to win up to £200 of Rewards vouchers each month.
Do you offer membership options for young people?
Yes, we have a range of memberships for children and young people.
For your little heroes aged aged 5-11 years, check out our Active Fun Membership, offering unlimited Swimming, Holidays Sessions, Sportshall Activities, MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) Pitches and more!
For young people aged 12 – 15 years, we have the Active Energy Membership, offering unlimited Gym, Swim, Fitness Classes, Sportshall Activities and more!
Any for anyone aged 16+ we have a brand new Student Membership, offering all the same great benefits as a normal fitness membership, including unlimited access to Gym, Swim and Fitness Classes.
Do you offer a Student Membership?
We offer a membership option for those in Full Time Education, with the same benefits as our Fitness Membership. You can find more information on our Student Membership page.
How do I freeze / cancel my membership?
If you wish to freeze, cancel or apply for a membership holiday, get in touch with our membership team by emailing [email protected] and they’ll be happy to assist you.
I’ve moved house / changed my email/phone number, how do I let you know?
If you wish to update your contact information, please contact [email protected] where they’ll happily update your information.
How do I update my bank details?
If you wish to update your bank details, please contact [email protected] where they’ll happily update your information.
How do I know when my local venue is open and the facilities it has on offer?
You can find our local venues, with information about their offering, opening hours and more by checking out our ‘Our Venues’ page.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up to our session?
Most of our sessions do not require you to book in advance. However, some sessions do require advance booking and for other sessions, advance booking is advisable. To check this, head to our Timetable page and find the session you wish to attend, if it has a Book Now button on it, you are required / recommended to book this class in advance.
If the session does not have a book now button, then you can show up at a time that suits you. If you are unsure, feel free to contact the venue directly.
Booking
How do I book a class or session?
To book a class or session, head to our Book Online platform where you will be able to book and manage your bookings. Not sure how to use our Book Online platform, no worries, we’ve got you covered. Click here to view our Helpful Guides playlist on YouTube.
If you do not have an account with us, you will need to register with us. Follow this quick video guide to help you.
Please be aware, you will only be able to book sessions within your membership booking abilities.
Alternatively, if you wish you can contact our venue directly to book your class.

How far in advance can I book a class or session?
Live Active Members can book up to 14 days in advance.
Live Active Card holders can book up to 7 days in advance.
If you are not a card holder, you can only book on the day of the activity.
How can I change / cancel my booking?
If you have booked a class or session with us, and are unable to attend or wish to change the booking you can do so on our Book Online platform.
Once signed in, head to the ‘Manage My Bookings’ tab, where you will be able to edit, reschedule or cancel your booking. Skip to 1 minute into this video for a quick guide.
How do I book a gym induction?
To book a gym induction, please contact your local venue to arrange this.

Do you offer any Holiday Programmes for children during school holidays?
We offer a range of sport specific camps, as well as drop-in sessions throughout the school holidays. Keep an eye on our website and social media for further updates.

We provide Live Active Tourist passes to local accommodation providers throughout Perth & Kinross. This gives guests discounted entry into our venues. Guests pay at the Live Active Card price level rather than the standard price. Find out more on our Live Active Tourist page.
How do I sign up to be a Live Active Rewards partner?
Are you a local business wanting to drive in more customers? Sign up to be a Rewards partner by emailing Leah at [email protected].
You will receive benefits such as the chance for a customer to buy up to £200 of Rewards vouchers every month, after winning our 100 Club, advertising our the Live Active website and much more.
