Whether you are helping out as awalk leader or a race marshall, Live Active volunteers are essential. As a Live Active volunteer you will meet new people, learn new skills and help make a difference in your local community.

All Ability Cycling
This exciting project breaks down countless barriers to physical activity allowing everyone to enjoy the freedom of cycling in the great outdoors.
We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to help us deliver our All Ability Cycling Project. Cycle leader training is provided, if you’re interested click here to complete the Volunteer Application Form

Stride for Life Walk Leader
Stride for Life is a great opportunity to stay active and explore your local community while helping others to do the same. Come along to one of our walks and chat to other volunteers to find out what's involved, or call our Development Officer on 01738 454628.
As well as Walk Leaders we also offer other volunteering opportunties with Stride for Life such as project such as administration roles. Contact the Development Officer on 01738 454628 to find out more and discuss which option might suit you.
Active Schools Volunteer
Passionate about encouraging children and young people to get and stay active? Volunteering with Active Schools involves 30-minutes to 1 hour, once a week before, lunchtime or after-school for 4-6 weeks. You do not need to be a qualified coach and sessions are fun, safe and inclusive. Active Schools are responsible for developing and supporting volunteer led, sustainable physical activity and sport opportunities that take place out with school hours, both within the school and wider community. Opportunities are wide ranging and available to senior pupils, coaches, leaders and teachers with training opportunities available to anyone who meets the required criteria.
