37 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends)

£25,253 - £26,853

Fixed Term until 31 March 2024

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic individual to develop and deliver Live Active Leisure’s ‘Buddy Walking’ initiative.

The post holder will engage with key partners across Perth and Kinross to increase referrals into this exciting project which provides 1-2-1 opportunities for those who are inactive, isolated and looking for support to start on their physical activity journey. The post holder will also ensure that ‘Buddy Walking’ becomes an integral part of our physical activity pathway in each locality by making strong links to other areas of our ‘Wellbeing’ service.

The role is externally funded and as such, we require the post holder to monitor and evaluate the impact of the project, in line with funding agreements.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical activity and understand the role that it can play in promoting health and reducing isolation within older adults.
