Breadalbane Community Campus and Live Active Atholl Update
As the leisure operator of Breadalbane Community Campus and Live Active Atholl, Live Active Leisure is committed to providing sport, fitness and leisure opportunities to the community of Highland Perthshire and beyond. However recently you may have noticed that we’ve had to restrict, limit or make short notice changes to some of the activities we deliver due to staff shortages and availability.
Despite our continuous efforts to recruit and retain qualified staff, we, like many other businesses, have experienced increased staff turnover and a significant reduction in new staff availability, all of which unfortunately leads to a strain on our operational capabilities.
We understand the disappointment these issues cause and we would like to assure our customers that we are working hard to rectify the situation. We’re doing this by currently recruiting for both full-time, permanent and relief part time staff. In addition, we are also offering free National Pool Lifeguard Training (NPLQ) for any applicants who don’t have this qualification. Therefore, if you or someone you know is interested in working in the Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing sector, supporting our communities to live active and healthy lives, please visit www.liveactive.co.uk for more information on the many benefits of working for Live Active Leisure.
We are grateful for the ongoing support, patience and understanding of our customers. Please keep an eye on our website and the Live Active Highland Facebook page for any updates regarding opening times, activity availability and recruitment opportunities.
