Curling

Come try Curling at our Olympic standard ice rink at Dewars Centre

Curling is a team sport, played on ice, where two teams take it in turns to slide stones made of granite towards a target – known as a House.

For centuries curling has been a favourite game in Scotland. Where it was originally played on frozen lochs and ponds.

Dewars Centre is renowned for its competition standard ice and was used as one of the training rinks for Eve Muirhead’s Olympic medal winning team. The curling runs from late September to early April every year.
