Tailored support and activity sessions for those referred by medical professionals.

Live Active Leisure’s Activity Referral programme helps individuals to increase their physical activity levels in a safe and structured environment.

The programme is aimed at those who are sedentary and those who have, or are at risk of having, a long-term medical condition.

Our professional, qualified instructors provide advice, support and guidance to encourage individuals to become more active. They design a programme of activity over a 12-week period that considers the specific needs of each individual who is referred.

Whilst the initial intervention is for 12 weeks, the programme is designed to support behaviour change over the longer term. Individuals will be signposted to a range of suitable activities beyond the initial 12 weeks where they will continue to receive support and encouragement to use physical activity as a tool for long term management of their health or specific medical condition.
