We Answer Some of Your Most Frequently Asked Questions About Our Cricket Sessions
Our cricket sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and accessible to all abilities. Here’s everything you need to know:
In all our cricket activity, our participants build confidence, develop new skills, and progress at their own pace.
Sessions include fun and engaging warm-ups, focused cricket drills and games, targeted at develop key skills related to batting, bowling and fielding.
In our holiday programmes which have a variety of age groups, our sessions will be split up into ability groups, so each participant receives age and stage specific coaching.
Children should bring a water bottle filled with still water or diluted juice to stay hydrated.
If your child requires medication like an inhaler, they must bring it to every session. In addition, please make a member of staff aware of this medication when you drop your child off.
For outdoor sessions, weather-appropriate clothing is essential.
We occasionally offer opportunities to play Hardball. This is usually at our Holiday Camps. Please enquire about specific camps to find out more.

Parent/Guardian viewing rules vary across venues:
- Glenearn Community Campus & Perth UHI – Benches are there for seating
- Loch Leven Community Campus & Breadalbane Community Campus – If outdoors, yes. If indoors, no.
- Strathearn Community Campus – Seating located outside the hall.
- Madoch Centre – No room for watching sessions. Cafe area located outside the hal

Bookings are paid per term, ensuring your child’s place and priority rebooking for the next term.
Yes! Regular term-time classes pause for holidays, but we run exciting holiday camps across Perth & Kinross.
Our holiday camps are packed with cricketing fun and are perfect for school children. We also run occasional special camps on in-service days.
Yes! We are passionate about disability inclusion. If you have a child with a disability who is keen to get involved with cricket, please get in touch with our Cricket Development Officer, Louis, who will be happy to signpost you to the right session for your child.
