Code of Conduct
At Live Active, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for all gymnasts.
Our gymnastics code of conduct ensures everyone enjoys a fun, respectful, and rewarding experience.
Promoting Safety, Respect, and Positive Behaviour
Our gymnastics code of conduct outlines essential rules to keep participants safe and help them get the most from every session. We encourage gymnasts and parents to follow these guidelines to support a positive experience for all.
- Scan your Live Active card: Scan in at reception upon arrival to register attendance.
- Respect other facility users: Please do not run, practice your skills, or be disruptive while waiting outside the hall.
- Arrive on time: Gymnasts who are more than 10 minutes late cannot join the session due to missing the warm-up.
- Wear suitable clothing: Check our dress code for safety guidelines.
- Bring water or still juice: Stay hydrated during the session.
- Visit the toilet before class: When possible, of course. This helps to avoid disruptions.

- Follow coach instructions: This is important for class safety and progression.
- Treat coaches and peers with respect: Poor behaviour may lead to removal from the session.
- One parent per child: To avoid overcrowding.
- Siblings and other cared for infants: Must stay in pushchairs or carriers to avoid disruption.
- P1 – P3 children: Must be dropped off and collected by a responsible adult aged over 16.
- P4 – P7 children: Can leave independently if parents have notified the coaching team.
