Our Sports Development Team
Our sport development team are here to help clubs and community sport hubs within the Perth and Kinross area. Find out below who are staff are and how they can help.

Phil Coleman
Phil is part of the Live Active Leisure management team. He has overall responsibility for the Sports Development and Health and Wellbeing teams and leads on securing external funding to support the growth and sustainability of services.

Logan McConachie
Logan manages the Sports Development team who are responsible for club development and community sport hubs across Perth and Kinross. Logan also manages our Modern Apprenticeship team and our sport specific programmes (football and cricket).

Stevie Baxter
Stevie works with clubs and community sport hubs in Perth and also in Kinross-shire. He leads on coach and volunteer development as well as our performance athlete programme.

Laura Munro
Laura works with clubs and community sport hubs in Perth and also in Eastern Perthshire. She leads on our young leadership work and supports our link with Perth College UHI.

Gemma Simpson
Gemma works with clubs and community sport hubs in the Strathearn area. She leads on inclusion, and the promotion of our sport development work (including social media and our annual Sports Awards).

Cammy Robertson
Cammy works with clubs and community sport hubs in Highland Perthshire and in Perth. Cammy manages club development projects and supports the Highland Perthshire Community Sports Hub as well as the Dunkeld and Birnam Sports and Leisure Hub.

Catriona Fairlie
Cat works with clubs and community sport hubs in Perth. Cat manages club development projects and supports the River Tay Community Sport Hub as well as the St Madoes Active Sports Hub.

Kenny Marquis
Kenny delivers football sessions within schools, clubs and our own programmed activity, helping to grow and develop football across Perth and Kinross, with a particular focus on increasing participation at a grassroots level.

Aiden Bright
Aiden Bright is responsible for delivering high quality football coaching sessions within schools, clubs and our own LAL programmed activity, contributing to the objectives within Live Active Leisure’s Football Development Plan.

Our Cricket Development Officer leads our Cricket Development Team, which aims to develop cricket across the whole of Perth and Kinross. They plan and deliver programmes which engage people of all backgrounds in cricket and also work in partnership with all the cricket clubs across P&K, helping them to grow and develop.

Ewan Riley
Ewan plays a key role for the Cricket Development Team, as Assistant Development Officer. Ewan leads on our projects and school delivery in Kinross and Eastern Perthshire. In the Summer, you will find Ewan playing and coaching for Perth Doo’cot CC and Rossie Priory CC, where he has been involved for a number of years.

Ben leads on the development of outdoor activities in Perth and Kinross creating opportunities, developing resources, removing barriers and supporting participation for all outdoor learners in Perth and Kinross.
