I really enjoyed my work placement with Perth Pickleball. The participants were extremely friendly and inclusive. During my time with them, I improved my confidence and developed skills in time management and coaching communication. Learning a new sport was really refreshing, despite the scoring being tricky to initially understand! My mentors were very supportive, allowing me to work at my own pace, with gentle encouragement throughout which helped me achieve my Pickleball Ambassador qualification.
