Perth and Kinross Council and Live Active Leisure are now inviting community groups, sports clubs and individuals who are interested in placing block bookings for the remaining space on the outdoor pitches at Perth Academy, Bertha Park and North Inch Community Campus to submit their applications for bookings between w/c 26th October 2026 and w/c 22nd March 2027 inclusive. 

The application deadline is midnight Monday 31st August 2026.  No bookings will be confirmed in advance of this date, therefore there is no advantage in submitting your booking early. Any bookings received after the deadline will still be considered but those received beforehand will be given priority. We will endeavour to have all bookings confirmed by w/c 7th September 2026.

How do I apply?

Clubs / groups must ensure that ALL booking applications are submitted as one and coordinated by one point of contact from each club / group. Multiple or duplicate applications from different representatives of the same club / group may not be processed.

Booking requests can only be submitted by completing this online form.

What information do you need?

 Before accessing the online form, gather and have to hand, all of the following information from your Club/Group:

• What day(s) of the week pitch is required
• Earliest possible start time each day
• Latest possible finish time each day
• Space required, 1/3 Pitch, 2/3 Pitch, Full Pitch
• Expected average number of participants at each session and their age e.g. Adult / Junior
• Any other information relevant to the specific request
• Is the Club / Group PACES accredited

How will Bookings be prioritised?

Bookings will be prioritised on the following basis:

Priority Level 1 – PACES* registered Clubs.

Priority Level 2 – Locally based loose-knit organisations/casual groups (Perth and Kinross)

Priority Level 3 – non-locally based club with NGB Quality Mark or equivalent accreditation

Priority Level 4 – Other non-locally based clubs, loose-knit organisations/casual groups.

Priority Level 5 – Other bookings

Junior groups (aged 17 and under) will be given priority at the earlier times. At all times PKC and LAL will seek to maximise the utilisation of all the available pitches. You may be allocated a slot at any of the pitches listed.

It is inevitable that in order to accommodate as many clubs / groups as possible we will require flexibility from all groups in terms of their start and finish times and in some cases you may be offered an alternative day.

Where bookings cannot be separated via the criteria above and in the event that demand exceeds supply, we will refer to previous allocations to reduce disruption to existing users and established routines.

Remaining Pitch space available

To minimise the challenges that would be faced by volunteer led clubs by significantly changing training days and times from previous years, we have already carried out Phase 1 of this process by offering clubs and groups the same or similar allocation as last year.

To this end, detailed below is the space that remains available Monday to Friday across the 3 outdoor pitches. There are also weekend slots available between 9am and 12noon and later times may be made available subject to sufficient demand.

Community groups, sports clubs and individuals are now invited to request a block booking at the available times in line with the dates stated previously.

The space available is listed for each time and day. The available space and time slots listed may be split to accommodate as many requests as possible. Bookings will be allocated on the basis of maximising the usage of all Pitches and the closest possible match to the request – not on a geographical basis.
