We’re excited to announce that the new Live Active Blairgowrie facility will officially open on Friday 29th August!
Live Active Leisure Chair Ian Collins said: “We are thrilled to be opening Live Active Blairgowrie later this month. It represents a significant investment from Perth and Kinross Council in the health and wellbeing of the local community, offering modern, inclusive facilities where everyone—from families to fitness enthusiasts—can come together and live active!”
To allow our team to complete essential training and final preparations for the opening, the current venue will close from the end of the day on Friday 22nd August.

What’s Coming to the New Venue

Fitness Class Programme

• More of your favourites: Enjoy even more classes you love, including Pilates, Yoga and Aquafit, with the addition of daytime classes.
• New Addition: Pedal your way to fitness in Spin Cycling, a high-energy class that’s suitable for all fitness levels.
• Les Mills Virtual Classes: Experience the latest virtual offerings, including RPM, BodyPump, BodyBalance and Dance.
The Gym
Our new gym will feature state-of-the-art equipment including:
• Cardio equipment: Treadmills, Bikes, Climbmill and Rowers.
• Strength Equipment: Smith Machine, Leg Press, Dumbbells and two half racks with Olympic lifting platforms.

Swimming
Enjoy a swim session for just £1 per person, and kids can take on our exciting brand new Aqua Run challenge, alongside fun pool sessions available. Swim times listed below:

• Kids Fun Swimming: 19:00 – 19:50
• Lane Swimming: 09:00 – 10:00

Sports Hall Activities
FREE sports hall sessions for the whole family! Try your hand at badminton, tennis, basketball, table tennis, volleyball and pickleball. Availale Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 – 16:00. No need to book, just turn up and have a go.
Fitness
Customers can enjoy a gym session for only £1 – available all weekend. We also have a full programme of various fitness classes on throughout the weekend along with welcome sessions; all available to book online. And if you just want to have a look round, that’s no problem. Our friendly, qualified staff will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions.
Family Fun
Kids can enjoy our bouncy castles and soft play for free. Available Saturday 13:00 – 16:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 16:00. No need to book, just come along.

Yes, that’s right, we’re giving people the chance to come and try our new facilities at Live Active Blairgowrie for free – that’s 7 days of gym, swim and fitness classes!
All you have to do is download the pass from the link below and show it at Live Active Blairgowrie reception between 29th August and 30th September and we’ll give you 7 days access.
Please note, a gym induction must be completed before you can use the Gym. If you haven’t yet completed a gym induction at a Live Active Leisure venue, you can do so online here. If you plan to use your pass only for swimming or fitness classes, you do not need to complete an induction.
